Abstract
Laboratory studies are designed to define, in terms of food consumption, bioenergetics, and growth of fish, the temperature conditions to which fish can adapt physiologically. Model stream studies simulate conditions of elevated temperature to which fish and other organisms may be exposed in natural streams. The stream experiments are designed to evaluate the effects of a modified temperature regime on important ecological relationships in an aquatic community. (Author)
