The Office of Drinking Water, Environmental Protection Agency has prepared a Drinking Water Criteria Document on Pentachlorophenol. The Criteria Document is an extensive review of the following topics: Physical and chemical properties of Pentachlorophenol; Toxicokinetics and human exposure to Pentachlorophenol; Health effects of Pentachlorophenol in humans and animals; Mechanisms of toxicological effects of Pentachlorophenol; Quantification of toxicological effects of Pentachlorophenol.
