Abstract

The objective of the governmental component of the Regional Conference of Elected Officials Air Pollution Study is to determine the kinds and distribution of governmental powers, controls, and service functions necessary to achieve and maintain a safe, healthful atmosphere throughout the 11-county Penjerdel Region now and in the future. The RCEO study area encompassed the Penjerdel Region and includes the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania; Burlington, Camden, Glouscester, Mercer, and Salem in New Jersey; and New Castle County in Delaware.
