Abstract |
The highway vehicle emission rates in the MOVES model database represent emissions under a single (base) scenario of conditions for temperature, humidity, air conditioning load and fuel properties. MOVES is designed to adjust these base emission rates to reflect the conditions for the location and time specified by the user. MOVES also includes the flexibility to adjust the base emission rates to reflect the effects of local Inspection and Maintenance (I/M) programs. This report describes how these adjustments for temperature, humidity, I/M and air conditioning were derived. Adjustments for fuel properties are addressed in a separate report. |
