| Abstract | As part of the U.S. Public Health Service's program of water supply and pollution control investigations in the Pacific Northwest, a monthly survey of oceanographical conditions in the Umpqua River Estuary, OR., began on December 14, 1960. Temperature, salinity, and velocity were measured from the surface to the bottom at approximately five-foot intervals at four stations in the estuary. Oxygen samples were collected at depth on four occasions. |
