| Abstract |
The Office of Radiation Programs (ORP) has undertaken an assessment of the status of knowledge relating to the safe operation of a large Liquid Metal Fast Breeder Reactor (LMFBR) powered electric generating station. This compilation and critique was performed to assist ORP in that assessment by evaluating the accident potential of a large LMFBR and consequent environmental effects. Topics discussed in the report include the following: Accident descriptions; Experimental research; Accident analysis codes. |
