| Abstract |
In October 1978 Archeological Services performed a National Register evaluation of site 39BK7 in Brookings County, South Dakota. This was done for the Environmental Protection Agency in their Oakwood Lakes Bank Stabilization Project, which will affect a small portion of the archeological village. The site is believed to be significant and eligible for the National Register. Minimal exploratory archeological work is recommended in the direct impact zone before construction begins; other areas of the site should be avoided. |
