Abstract |
Given that noise is a serious environmental problem, some appropriate questions one might ask in seeking a comprehensive noise-control objective are: Precisely what are the sources of noise pollution. How many people are exposed to these sources and how are they affected. What can be done to control the noise output of offending sources. The report attempts to answer these questions for the specific categories of construction, home appliances, and building equipment. (Author) |
