Abstract |
The document provides the Agency's rationale and technical support for developing concentration-based treatment standards for organic constituents in U and P nonwastewaters, for lead in U051 nonwastewaters, and for constituents in multi-source leachate nonwastewaters (F039). These standards are applicable to the wastes as listed as well as to any wastes generated by the management or treatment of the listed wastes. For the purpose of determining the applicability of the treatment standards, wastewaters are defined as wastes containing less than 1% (weight basis) total suspended solids and less than 1% (weight basis) total organic carbon (TOC). Wastes not meeting the wastewater definition must comply with treatment standards for nonwastewaters. |
