Abstract
This study assesses those trends in U.S. agriculture and silviculture that will have the most significant environmental implications, either beneficial or adverse, in the short term (1985) and in the long term (2010). Volume II identifies the major ecological impacts of the major trends on aquatic life, terrestrial life, and human health. The second volume also contains an assessment of continuing research needs and prospective policy issues involving environmental quality management.
