Abstract |
This decision document presents the selected remedial action for Site 25 Pesticide Rinse Area at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Site (NSWCDL) Dahlgren, Virginia. The remedial action selected in this ROD addresses contamination associated with Site 25 pesticide rinse contents, surface soils, subsurface soils, and sediments. The selected remedy for Site 25 is: excavation and off-site disposal of all soil contaminated with pesticides and inorganics at levels exceeding Remedial Action Objectives (RAOs), in order to protect potential ecological and human receptors. The excavated areas will be backfilled and revegetated and the wetlands restored. |
