Abstract
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency promulgated National Primary Drinking Water Regulations for lead and copper on June 7, 1991. The document provides monitoring guidance for water systems serving >100,000 persons. It discusses lead and copper tap water monitoring, water quality parameter monitoring, lead and copper source water monitoring and analytical methods. It also gives tap water and source water monitoring schedules and sample forms.
