| Abstract |
Data from the National Emissions Data System (NEDS) and the Storage and Retrieval of Aerometric Data (SAROAD) system were reviewed to develop enhancements to these systems. Proposed Source Classification Codes (SCCs) were reviewed, and recommendations were made to the National Air Data Branch (NADB) for the adoption of new SCCs. The data records coded with ten non-specific SCCs which end in -99 were reviewed to identify more specific SCCs which could be added to the master list. Verification criteria which could be used to identify anomalous emissions data were tested. A proposed index to quantify the quality of data in an emission inventory was evaluated. |
