Abstract
This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Hooker Chemical/Ruco Polymer Site. Operable unit one (the subject of this Record of Decision) at the Hooker Chemical/Ruco Polymer Site will address the contaminants in the soils that were not remediated as part of operable unit two and present the largest threat to the groundwater as continued sources of contamination. This operable unit will also address groundwater contamination beneath the Ruco facility through a pump and treat system to prevent further downgradient migration of contaminants. Operable unit one will require long-term management to maintain the groundwater pump and treat systems and periodically measure the success of the deep soil flushing.
