Abstract

During the summer of 1967, the Chesapeake Support Laboratory, Middle Atlantic Region, Federal Water Pollution Control Administration conducted investigations to obtain background water quality information in the major river basins, and three smaller areas, of the eastern shore of Chesapeake Bay (Delaware, Maryland and Virginia). The results of these investigations with sampling and analytical methods are presented in the report.
