Abstract | There is no information on the absorption, distribution, excretion, or metabolism of ingested or inhaled TNM in humans or experimental animal species. The report was developed to review the toxicology of Tetranitromethane in consideration of its human health effects when ingested in water. The available information is not sufficient to develop Drinking Water Health Advisories (HAs); therefore, the report provides recommendations for additional research that would allow HAs to be developed. The data deficiency report provides information on the health effects, analytical methodology and treatment technology of Tetranitromethane. |
