Abstract |
To better control, protect, and manage the water quality of our rivers, water resources engineers have directed increased attention to development of analytical techniques for the determination of procedures and policies by which optimal operation and management of entire river basins may be realized. The problem presented in this report concerns a basin with a developed or proposed impoundment system. A method is developed for formulating reservoir operating policies for water quality control in an optimal manner. |
