Abstract
EPA has assessed the risks of fenthion and reached an Interim Reregistration Eligibility Decision (IRED) for this organophosphate (OP) pesticide. Provided that risk mitigation measures are adopted, fenthion fits into its own 'risk cup' - its individual, aggregate risks are within acceptable levels. Fenthion is not eligible for reregistration at this time but may be pending a decision by the Agency on appropriate mitigation after consultation with stakeholders.EPA has assessed the risks of fenthion and reached an Interim Reregistration Eligibility Decision (IRED) for this organophosphate (OP) pesticide.
