Abstract
Recommended performance specification and test procedures are given for range, noise, lower detectable limit, interference equivalent, zero drift, span drift, lag time, rise time, fall time, and precision for automated methods for measuring nitrogen dioxide and hydrocarbons corrected for methane. These specifications and test procedures are intended for use as guidelines to assist instrument manufacturers and instrument users to determine performance characteristics for continuous air monitoring analyzers.
