Abstract
This decision document (Record of Decision), presents the selected remedial action for the Source Operable Unit (OU2) for the Stauffer Chem (Cold Creak Plant) Superfund Site, Mobile County, Alabama. For the Cold Creek LeCreek Wastewater Treatment Pond, the selected remedy is no further action. For the Cold Creek North Landfill and Cold Creek South Landfill, the selected remedy is cap maintenance with continued groundwater monitoring. For the contaminated soil of the Old Neutralization Pond the selected remedy consists of bioremediation of contaminated soil, backfilling, and capping the pond.
