Abstract
This document reports the results of the on-road testing conducted during the experimental program. Sections 1 and 2 describe the DEAL and its associated instrumentation. Section 4 provides the field test procedures, Section 5 provides the post-test laboratory analyses, and Section 6 provides the data analysis procedures used to produce the experimental results. Sections 7 through 9 present the test results for vehicle operation, gaseous emissions, and PM2.5 emissions, respectively. Quality Assurance and Quality Control is described in Section 10, and Section 11 compares the results to historical data. Finally, the research findings are provided in Section 12 and the references in Section 13. Due to the generally low reliability of the black carbon and particle surface polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon instruments as well as the small time-integrated sample set collected, these data are provided in Appendix A. Also appended are the fuel analyses and instrument calibrations for the study.
