Abstract
The report presents information about the ways our water resources are used, the pollution going into our water resources and the resulting damages, the benefits which may result from pollution prevention and abatement, the pollution prevention measures now in effect, and those required. A sincere effort has been made by all who contributed to this report to present a fair picture of the complex water pollution problems in the Missouri Basin and to present reasonable conclusions and recommendations.
