Abstract
The report present information about the ways water resources are used, the pollution going into our water resources and the resulting damages, the benefits which may result from pollution prevention and abatement, the pollution prevention measures now in effect, and those required. There are two parts. Part one considers the water pollution problems of the basin as a whole. Part two presents briefly the data for each of the several sub-basins of the major basin, including a tabulation of pollution abatement projects now known to be needed for water pollution control.
