Abstract
The Fast-Track Cleanup Implementation Work Group (FTCIWG) of the Defense Environmental Response Task Force (DERTF) has developed this brochure for members of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Cleanup Teams (BCT). The key elements discussed in this brochure are intended to assist the BCTs with their initiatives to improve the teams' abilities to provide fiscally responsible and timely environmental cleanups at closing bases. The key elements discussed in the brochure are derived from one-day visits conducted by the FTCIWG with BCTs at 14 installations covering 10 states and 7 regions of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
