| Abstract |
We have developed a liquid crystal microwave power density meter. The meter has a Mylar membrane with resistive and liquid crystal coatings which serves as a large-area sensing element and uses direct current electrical power for bias and calibration of the membrane. The general operating principles of such an instrument and the design and operating characteristics of the particular meter constructed are described in the report. (Author) |
