Abstract
The report presents the data base developed in the National Environmental Specimen Bank (NESB) Survey. The NESB Survey mailing list consisted of 4500 names and addresses. The 657 environmental specimen collections that were located and documented in the NESB Survey Data Base include the following categories: animal, atmospheric, geological, microbiological, plant and water. However, the majority of the collections identified are biological in nature. Three indices of the NESB Survey Data Base are included in this report.
