Abstract
The economic impact analysis uses annualized control costs in conjunction with economic and financial parameters to estimate potential economic impacts that may be experienced by existing facilities in industries that generate hospital waste or medical/infectious waste. Economic impacts such as price, output, and employment changes are examined for industries such as hospitals, nursing homes, and veterinary facilities.
