Abstract

Data on the atmospheric levels of carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, total hydrocarbons, and total oxidants and on soiling index are analyzed and discussed for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To facilitate the use of the volume as a reference, the data are tabulated as hourly, daily, and monthly mean concentrations. Background information about Philadelphia and a description of the instrumentation used are included. (Author)
