Abstract

A compilation of the first 24 issues of Bay Barometer, a monthly environmental series published by the Chesapeake Bay Program is presented. Initiated by the Bay Program Monitoring Subcommittee to provide timely reports on two basic water quality characteristics of the Chesapeake, dissolved oxygen and clarity, the Bay Barometer is distributed to newspapers, newsletters, educational institutions and other public and private organizations.
