Abstract

This report describes a Region-wide, multi-Federal Agency Task Force effort to plan and implement management of hazardous wastes. The report contains a directory of Federal personnel concerned with environmental management, a Regional inventory of Hazardous wastes from Federal Agencies, a survey of existing Federal Facilities for Hazardous waste management, criteria for selecting a site for land disposal, recycling hazardous materials refrograde chemical and pesticide management by the Department of Defense, technology and information transfer actions, coordination with State Agencies, summary and recommendations.
