Abstract
An Environmental Inventory of Christmas Bay designed to assist in the development of a management plan for the preserve. The objective of the report was to gather and integrate existing data, identify data gaps, and describe the environmental attributes of Christmas Bay. The report concludes that: one or more water quality monitoring stations should be established; studies should be undertaken to determine the relative abundance of four species of seagrass; a vegetated island of adequate elevation would be a valuable resource for colonial wasing brids and wildlife refuge.
