| Abstract |
The ability of 2-phenoxyethanol to induce chromosomal aberrations was evaluated in bone marrow cells of groups of 5 male and 5 female Sprague-Dawley rats administered the test article in corn oil by single gavage doses of 280, 933 or 2800 mg/kg body weight. There were no significant increases in the incidence of cytogenetic anomalies in treatment groups as compared to the negative control group which was administered corn oil only. |
