Contents Notes
In August and September 1992, stream surveys were conducted on nine streams in Southeast Alaska and on Afognak Island (located north of Kodiak Island) on lands owned by Native corporations or managed by the Forest Service. Data are collected for future comparisons and to characterize existing fish habitat conditions in areas that have been recently harvested or are planned to be harvested in the future. The report contains a limited evaluation of potential effectiveness of new forest practices for fish habitat protection.
