Abstract |
This document is provided to clarify all of the steps involved in the process of locating and evaluating a sampling site for the Wadeable Streams Assessment. There are 5 steps involved in this process: (1) Locate the index site (x-site) on a topographic map. (2) Verify that the x-site is aligned with an actual stream segment. (3) Obtain permission to access the site. (4) Verify that the site is sampleable. (5) Sample the site OR replace with an alternate site. |
