Abstract

The results of a preliminary water supply and pollution control study of the Chariton and Little Chariton River basins, in south-central Iowa and north-central Missouri, are presented. Included are brief discussions of the economy of the study area, population, ground water resources, water uses, future water requirements, waste waters, and the need for streamflow regulation.
