Abstract
Control Techniques Guidelines (CTG) are documents prepared by the EPA that serve as guidance to States in developing reasonably available control technology (RACT). The CTG's contain volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and control technology information, as well as recommended RACT. The CTG contains guidance on the storage of volatile organic liquids in fixed and floating roof tanks, such as those located at petroleum refineries, chemical plants, and liquid terminals.
