Abstract | A fact-gathering investigation was undertaken to explore and document the technical, environmental, economic, social and political aspects of a damage incident in the Pleasant Plains section of Dover Township, near Toms River, New Jersey, resulting from improper storage/land disposal of hazardous industrial wastes. This report contains a brief overview of the events related to the incident, technical evaluation and analysis of the collected data and discussion of the economic damage and the environmental, social, political and regulatory aspects of the incident. |
