Abstract
This user's guide is a companion to the previously published report A User's Guide for REDEQL.EPA which explains the use of a computerized chemical equilibrium program for metals and ligands in aqueous systems. Changes in this guide include temperature correction for equilibrium constants and activity coefficients, calculations of degree of saturation for selected solids, attainment of an electrically neutral solution, and the use of an adsorption routine. Use of the program including these modification is illustrated with a sample case of river water. Also included in the guide are sample input data sheets and illustrations of redox reactions under various pH and redox conditions.
