| Abstract | Most lakes appear to experience a physiological aging process known as eutrophication. The research activities of the National Eutrophication Research Program are aimed at the development of methods for the control and alleviation of accelerated eutrophication and include both applied and fundamental studies. The report briefly describes this research. |
