| Abstract | This updated Directory of State and Local Environmental Libraries was compiled by the staffs of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Library Systems Branch, the EPA libraries, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Library and Information Services Division and NOAA libraries around the nation. General university libraries have not been included, nor have documents divisions of these and public libraries, since the primary portions of such collections are not presumed to be environmentally oriented. Specialized departmental libraries of both university and public libraries have been included where they specifically relate to environmental activities. |
