Abstract |
The legal functions, powers, and capacities of eleven different types of governmental units which are now, or might be, engaged in water pollution activities in the Miami Valley (Ohio) area are described in comparing the statutory powers of each unit with twenty-five points derived from management agency descriptions found in Section 208 (PL 92-500), subsequent implementing guidelines, and evaluative literature. The information is used in the development of alternatives for the designation of the management agency capable of implementing the Section 208 (PL 92-500) areawide waste treatment management plan. |
