Abstract
This research was initiated to determine the rates of uptake, by a Thalassia testudinum ecosystem, of Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn which were leached from sewage sludge by seawater. The experimental design used aerated flowing seawater which passes over a 0.1 cu m bed of sewage sludge before traversing the model ecosystem.
