Abstract
The document is designed for use as a handbook for those people involved in international environmental administration and assistance. The handbook addresses 16 major international organizations and the Law of the Sea Conference. The organizations selected are those with which the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has some continuing contact. The organizations are presented in order of their potential effectiveness to abate transnational pollution. The background and structure of these organizations and the strategies they use are examined. A bibliography for each organization and a general bibliography are also provided.
