Abstract |
Direct and indirect discharges of municipal and industrial wastes to Las Vegas Wash from sources in Las Vegas Valley, Nevada, are causing interstate pollution of Lake Mead and the Lower Colorado River which is deleterious to the health or welfare of persons living in Arizona, California and Nevada. This pollution also causes violations of Federal-State water quality standards applicable to Lake Mead and the Colorado River. The report summarizes the technical information documenting the interstate pollution and recommends remedial abatement actions. |
