Abstract
This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the first operable unit of the National Zinc Site, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The major components of the selected remedy include: removal and disposal of contaminated soils followed by restoration of yards in residential areas; implementation of a program to monitor blood lead levels throughout and after the remedial action in the affected community; and removal, tilling, capping, and/or treatment of contaminated soils in commercial and industrial areas.
