| Abstract |
This report presents the results of field measurements and observations on a land treatment site for management of waste bottoms from a petroleum wastewater treatment pond. The waste is typically 13% solids, 25% oil, and 62% water as spread. The site was sampled twice, and observations were made on the type and amount of waste handled, site characteristics, and management procedures for waste application and monitoring. Organic and inorganic analyses were conducted on the waste and soil/waste mixture; inorganic analyses were performed on plant samples. |
