The report summarizes observations made during a field evaluation of the Boise District, Bureau of Land Management. The purpose of the study was to examine the BLM environmental control programs and to assess their effectiveness in terms of conditions in the field. The evaluation covered District operations involving air quality, water supply, water quality, solid waste disposal, pesticides uses, environmental emergency procedures and surveillance and monitoring.
