Abstract

The Draft EIS addresses proposed wastewater management facilities for northern Pinellas County, Florida. The major elements of the EIS include: (1) the development and evaluation of wastewater disposal alternatives for existing municipal wastewater treatment facilities, (2) the development and evaluation of wastewater management alternatives for the area east of Lake Tarpon, (3) the evaluation of the environmental effects and costs associated with the disposal of wastewater through a Gulf outfall, and (4) the evaluation of wastewater reuse in the study area.
