Abstract
EPA has completed its reregistration eligibility decisions for the pesticides trifluoro-4-nitro-m-cresol(TFM; Case 3082) and niclosamide (Case 2455) and determined that all lampricide uses, when labeled and used as specified in this document are eligible for reregistration. Section I is the introduction. Section II describes TFM and niclosamide, their uses, data requirements, and regulatory history. Section III discusses the human health and environmental assessment based on the data available to the Agency. The human health assessment for TFM is discussed first, followed by the human health assessment for niclosamide. Next the environmental fate and ecotoxicity assessment of TFM is followed by this assessment for niclosamide. The final topic of Section III is a combined exposure and risk characterization of the two chemicals. Section IV presents the reregistration decision for TFM and niclosamide. Section V discusses the reregistration requirements for TFM and niclosamide. Finally, Section VI contains the Appendices which support this Reregistration Eligibility Decision.
