Abstract

The summary report presents information about the ways our water resources are used, the pollution going into our water resources and the resulting damages, the benefits which may result from pollution prevention and abatement, the pollution prevention measures now in effect, and those required. It is prepared in two parts. Part one considers the water pollution problems of the basin as a whole. Part two presents briefly the data for each of the several sub-basins of the major basin, including a list of projects now known to be needed for water pollution control.
